President Declares National Jubilee Day of Prayer

Washington DC Mall
He said, “From the beginning, this has always been a country sustained and strengthened by prayer.“

President Donald Trump declared a National Jubilee of Prayer on Sunday as part of the celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary.

The Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving event was happening on the National Mall on Sunday. Secretary Marco Rubio, Secretary Pete Hegseth, and House Speaker Mike Johnson are to speak at the event that highlights the roots of faith in the foundation of the United States.

“As we prepare to celebrate two and a half centuries of freedom, I am inviting America’s great religious communities to pray for our nation and for our people,“ President Trump stated last year during planning stages. “From the beginning, this has always been a country sustained and strengthened by prayer. So important, if we bring religion back stronger, you’re going to see everything get better and better and better. You are going to see it get better and better. So, as we chart our course for the next 250 years, let us rededicate ourselves to one nation under God.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and his Cabinet to seek and receive the Lord’s guidance in their actions and decisions.
  • For the public officials at each level of government to be led by God to accomplish His purposes in this country.
  • For the hearts of the American people to return to the Lord and His truth.
